ABOUT US
Lawrence PsychAdvisory is headed by Dr Claire Lawrence (BA PhD PGCAP AFBPsP CPsychol), an applied psychologist with over 25 years experience of providing guidance on managing work-related aggression and conflict. Together, she and her network of academics and practitioners, specialise in promoting positive interactions between staff and clients.
Dr Lawrence developed and published the Situational Triggers of Aggressive Response (STAR) scale in 2006. This instrument allows insights into the factors that trigger aggressive thoughts, feelings and behaviours in individuals and teams. Since then, the STAR scale has been translated into eight languages and applied to a wide variety of organisations and settings. Uniquely, LPA provides individual and organisational guidance to pin-point where aggressive triggers lie and offers bespoke solutions.
She has published over 100 empirical evidence-based studies and reviews, and her work has been referenced by others in the field in 4536 publications to date.
